Anita is one of the rarest talents in orchestral music: She is equally adept on two instruments. Born in 1991, Anita Chen launched her career as a professional soloist at Carnegie Hall in 2002, performing on both violin and piano with the St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble. Returning to Carnegie Hall in 2009, Anita made her recital debut in a program featuring Cimarosa, Mozart, Schubert, Liszt, and Markov, performing one half of the concert on piano and the other on violin. Accepted into the pre-college division at Juilliard School at age 7, Anita has won numerous piano and violin competitions, including the 2007 Carlson-Horn Competition. Anita plays with precision and style, warmth and imagination. And whether it's Mozart or Saint-Saens, piano or violin, she rewards audiences with a performance that's impressive and inspiring.

One of the most versatile actresses in the American musical theater, the endearing and exciting Christiane Noll has won critical acclaim for her repertoire in Broadway, opera and jazz. Christiane has starred on Broadway, at the Kennedy Center and in Carnegie Hall. She received a 2010 Tony Award nomination to add to her Helen Hayes Award and Ovation Award. Along with her four solo CDs, she is featured on recordings ranging from The Paul Simon Album to The Three Broadway Divas. Christiane has showcased her amazing vocal skills as a solo artist in cabaret, with Plácido Domingo and the Washington National Opera, alongside Julie Andrews in London, and as the singing voice of Anna in the Warner Brothers animated feature "The King and I." Performing with piano accompaniment, Christiane consistently delights audiences with her seemingly endless talent.

Carpe Diem String Quartet is an exciting group that is becoming one of the most versatile ensembles of their generation. Recent ambitious projects include the complete recordings of the nine string quartets of Sergey Taneyev and a collaboration with Columbus Dance Theater.
