For 79 years, the Sioux Falls Concerts Association has brought world-class entertainment to the Sioux Falls community. Established in 1930 as the Civic Music Association, the group later evolved into the Sioux Falls Community Concerts Association. In 2003, the Sioux Falls Concerts Association separated from Community Concerts and became “free agents,” collaborating with various booking agents to secure world-class entertainment for its membership. The all-volunteer, non-profit organization has hosted a wide variety of talent over the years, including the National Lutheran Choir, Cantus, the Coats, George Gershwin, Roberta Peters, Robert Merrill and the Dixie Chicks.
